Debbie Adams grew up in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Michigan where she graduated Magna Cum Laud from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrating in graphic design. After working many years in publications as a graphic designer and art director she was ready for something different to do. The art teacher at the local elementary school introduced her to fused art glass which really intrigued her. Debbie took classes and started learning all she could. In 2010 she purchased her first kiln and Firefly Art Glass was born! She worked out of her basement studio in Elkhorn, WI and in 2016 opened her first glass shop. Debbie enjoys all aspects of the business but really enjoys working with customers on special orders and classes.
Bridget DeLoge
Stained Glass
Bridget DeLoge is an artist born and raised in Michigan. She has been interested in stained glass since she was in junior high school, when her 7th grade art teacher recommended she take an after school stained glass class. She fell in love with the medium and always thought she may pick it back up someday. After she graduated from high school, she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University with a concentration in watercolor. Although painting was a main focus in college, she never gave up on the idea of a future in Stained Glass. In 2008 she moved with her husband and son to Mequon, WI. She likes to create anything that comes to mind, while working with the many colors and types of glass. Lately, she has been incorporating wood into her designs, but one of her favorite things to create is portraits of family pets. With a provided image, she finds it challenging to pick out just the right details, to represent the pet’s personal character.
